When Claudia’s parents and brothers depart from their family home in the suburban south shore of Montreal, Canada for Europe, Claudia chooses to leave her beloved wilderness and books behind for downtown life. As she adopts the people in her new environment as her new family, she becomes aware that city life is not much different from the gardens of her childhood. It is just wilder.

 

Cole is a product of the countryside, the cosmopolitan life and the consequences of his family’s choices. Together they must accept that their family of friends create a landscape of their own and within landscapes of nature or people, there is always treasure to be found.
